PROGRAMS & SERVICES - Catholic Charities OKC is the social service outreach of the Catholic Church. Our dedicated volunteers and staff work to address issues of homelessness, families in crisis, immigration assistance, disaster recovery assistance, refugee resettlement, infant adoption and crisis pregnancies, social action, counseling, parish outreach and nursing. Since inception in 1912, Catholic Charities of Oklahoma City has reached out to and aided tens of thousands of individuals and families.
ADOPTION SERVICES
Catholic Charities is a licensed child-placing agency serving the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.
HOLY FAMILY HOME
The Holy Family Home provides a loving, family atmosphere for teenage girls experiencing the overwhelming emotional effects of unplanned pregnancies.
FAITH COMMUNITY NURSING
Registered nurses who work in faith communities with the purpose of ministering to the whole person - physically, socially, emotionally, and with special emphasis on the spiritual dimension.
DISASTER RELIEF
Coordinates disaster response and provides critical services including emergency food, shelter, direct financial assistance, counseling, and support
COUNSELING
Provides professional counseling and related services on an outpatient basis to persons who are addressing issues such as: adult, child & family relations, behavioral problems, grief, marriage, and parenting.
PARISH OUTREACH
Support and develop the empowerment of the parish as the people of God to act on the Gospel values in their community to reduce poverty and build the reign of God among us.
HOMELESS SERVICES
Provides a facility where the homeless can have access to shower/laundry facilities, telephone messages, food, and comprehensive social services.
SOCIAL JUSTICE
Works with federal, state, and local governmental agencies to promote
justice, the dignity of all human life, and to serve those in need.
REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT
The Refugee Resettlement program helps refugees navigate the governmental processes of resettlement while providing pre- and post-arrival services.
FAMILY HOPE
Case Management service that builds partnerships with families in crisis by eliminating barriers to success and providing emergency assistance as needed.
IMMIGRATION
Provides quality legal immigration services to the low income people of Oklahoma. Catholic Charities is an affiliate of the US Catholic Conference and is accredited by the Board of Immigration Appeals.
