Enid

The Enid regional office of Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, opened in 1997 to provide Counseling Services to residents of Enid, Garfield County, and surrounding areas. In 2001, Enid counseling operations were expanded; cooperative efforts with other community groups were increased, and a Case Management Program for low-income families was established. This case management program has evolved into the Enid-area Family HOPE Program, designed to help families overcome obstacles of poverty and gain self-sufficiency.

For Immigration Services, we have a web cam set up so that clients can meet with Catholic Charities of Oklahoma City immigration attorneys without having to travel to OKC. Appointments to meet with immigration attorneys are made through the OKC immigration department.

Other services we provide include a Diaper Program, Financial Assistance, and the Christmas Program. The Christmas Program is an adopt-a-child gift program where sponsors are given gift ideas, filled out by the parents similar to the adopt-a-family in OKC, except we adopt children only. Sponsors are given gift ideas that parents have filled out. The gifts are brought to our office unwrapped and we distribute to the parents along with wrapping paper.

Clinton

The Clinton Office of Catholic Charities opened in 2001 and serves St. Mary in Clinton, St. Matthew in Elk City, Queen of All Saints in Sayre, St. Anne in Cordell, and St. Eugene in Weatherford. The office provides services for people of all faiths who fall through the cracks - don't qualify for public assistance and can't afford insurance.

We offer Counseling Services for problems with substance abuse, domestic violence, anger management, parenting classes, individual, family, and couples counseling. We also have a Family HOPE Program and do case management. We link with the OKC office to provide Adoption Services and Immigration Services.  We also work closely with the legal system in the surrounding area and get many court referrals for services.
