“I don't think you ever stop giving. I really don't. I think it's an on-going process. And it's not just about being able to write a check. It's being able to touch somebody's life.”

DONATE

Catholic Charities of Oklahoma City is a faith-based organization dedicated to helping those in need. Our mission is to put into practice the gospel values of justice, love, compassion and hope through service, empowerment and advocacy.

We share our gifts with all those who come to our door, regardless of race, creed, religion or ability to pay, and our work touches the minds, bodies, and spirits of those we serve.  However, it is only through the support and generosity of others that we are able to provide the necessary levels of service to:

  • Strengthen families
  • Protect children
  • Form new families
  • Keep older adults safe, secure and comfortable
  • Provide food, shelter and clothing
  • Welcome refugees from other countries and help them settle into a new community
  • Counsel people with personal and emotional problems or troubled relationships
  • Help people find employment so that they may become self-reliant
  • Aid in disaster recovery
  • Help the homeless

Your generosity makes great things possible!  Please consider a donation of Money, In-Kind Gifts, Time, Prayer or Wish List items today.

How Your Annual Appeal Donation Will Help Others:

  • $10 provides bus tokens for a homeless man or woman seeking transportation for medical treatments.
  • $25 could purchase gas vouchers for a client to travel to job interviews.
  • $50 helps a single mother pay a portion of her overdue utility bill.
  • $100 provides soft, warm bedding, new pillows and bath towels for a refugee family just arriving in Oklahoma from a war-torn country.
  • $250 could help a disaster victim replace furniture after a devastating tornado destroys his home.
  • $680 will assist two eligible immigrants with work authorizations so they can provide for their families.
  • $1,000 can supply 133 babies with three packages of diapers each.
  • $5,000 can assist with an unwed pregnant teen's shelter, medical care and pre-natal counseling at the Holy Family Maternity Home.
  • A $10,000 donation would sponsor one day of operations and services at Catholic Charities.

Our current Annual Appeal runs September 2009 through August of 2010. If you would like to pledge by mail and receive regular payment reminders, print out our pledge card, complete it and mail to:
