FLSA DUTIES STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Director of Sanctuary for Women’s Development, Norman
JOB OBJECTIVE: Provides direct service and support through day services at the Sanctuary for Women’s Development. Conducts intakes with new clients interested in case management services.
The essential job duties include but are not limited to:
· Interact with clients seeking day services.
· Effectively perform Intake interviews with clients. Open, maintain and update client files within established timeframes.
· Coordinate effective client arrive and appointment processes.
· Assist with signups for various series, e.g. showers, laundry, etc. and supervise the client process.
· Intervene with clients in crisis situations as appropriate.
· Answer and screen incoming calls.
· Order office supplies.
· Keep accurate records, including timely opening of client record in the database and case notes as appropriate.
· Conduct intake interviews with clients and advise them on available resources.
· Teach a life skills class to clients.
· Prepare and distribute hygiene items and other donated items.
· Provide information and referral as appropriate. Provide emergency assistance based on department procedures when funding is available.
Ancillary functions:
· Order office supplies and shared items for the department.
· Coordinate with all departments of the agency for efficient and effective use of shared resources.
· Provide assistance with processing statistics.
· translation for non-English speaking individuals seeking assistance through case management programs if able.
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor based on the needs of the department.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position may supervise volunteers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
· High school graduation or G.E.D., Associate’s degree preferred.
· Must have valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
· Fluency in Spanish and English preferred.

· Typical environment is in a face paced center providing direct services to homeless.
· May be subjected to fast-paced decision making, crisis situations.
