Emergency Rent & Utility Assistance
For many families and individuals, when money becomes tight, they are unable to make a budget that can ensure rent is paid on time, or keep a utility from being cut off. Catholic Charities understands the significant impact a situation can bring, and we offer help through our emergency rent & utility assistance program.
These services are provided regardless of religion, race, creed or socio-economic status. All recipients of assistance will be required to enroll in a budgeting class.
How To Apply (OKC area only)
Emergency rent and utility assistance is available at the start of each week. Funds are limited and it's a first-come, first-serve basis. To apply, an individual must call Catholic Charities on Monday morning promptly at 8:00am. Phone calls are answered in the order they are received. If you receive a busy signal, hang up and try your call again.
A current bill, proof of current and identifiable income and a copy of your ID may be required.
Please call 405-523-3000 on Mondays at 8:00am for assistance.
